A good screen recorder

  1. I don't want to know about anything with a trial and i coulden't get fraps to work properly, i'll pay up to 15$ for the software, need a good screen recorder that can record team fortress and preferably has a little editing tool selection as well.

    Camtasia is awful for game recording due to it's CPU intensity, Fraps is pretty much the best thing out there ATM.

  5. I couldent get freps to work it would just show a black screen or my desktop and audio thats it

    I like Bandicam although it puts something at the top of your screen but I think the full version gets rid of it

  9. If you want to record Source games with next to no FPS loss, use the Screen recorder built into MSI Afterburner. It works amazingly well for Source footage! I recommend it!

    It also keeps MUCH smaller video files than Fraps. I recorded 25 minutes of full HD video onto an 8GB file due to it's amazing compression.

    Why does no body ever suggest DxTory? Probably the best recording software out there and a decent price.
