Not sure where you got that price from, the lowest price I found for it was $880, and that's the i5 model.

And anything that can run BF4 is going to be expensive xP

This laptop will run BF4 on low @~30-40 fps http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152462
It's about as cheap as you can get for a laptop. Sorry!

If it's possible to go for that y510p, go for it! 750m dual-SLI would be awesome. Might be able to play BF4 on high, easily on mid settings.

+1. But some people have the needs for mobility. Can't argue with that if he does.

  7. Still, you never use a laptop for gaming. If you do, bad things can happen.

  8. Could someone send me a "BRITISH POUNDS" pc already built i don't have the guts to build it my self. I need a pc that can run bf4 on low settings on at least decent frame rates like 30 up.

  9. You see, my friend got a cheap laptop, about 1.5 years ago.
    Here are the specs:
    -5gb ram
    -2.4Ghz Quad core
    -Intergrated AMD
    -Windows 8
    -Beats Sound Driver
-Max Resolution was like the standard: 1366 x 768
    -HDMI Port
    -Ethernet/Built-in Wifi Adapter

    Tested with:
    Runs MW3 at MAX
    Runs BadCompany 2 at MAX
    Runs GMOD/CSS at MAX
Runs Minecraft at MAX (Using Optifine to get more video settings, not to increase performance)
    *ALL with ZERO lag.

    Cost: $300
It MAY have been an ASUS, not sure.

But if you could get something THAT good for THAT price back then,
I'm sure you can get something even better for $500.

May not be the best one to buy, but I don't usually shop from the UK xP

5 gb ram? and you didn't mention the graphics model, so we have no idea what to buy him. Then $300, your friend totally lied. $300 get's you a graphics card that will barely run BF4 on high.

MSI is always a good choice if you have the money. It's more expensive than others but they put that money into amazing quality.

  13. Yea I know its an odd number, but I swear to you these specs are 100% accurate. It was $300, he bought it from Walmart and when he told me I went to the electronic section and BAM there it is, I even took a picture of the price tag. Unfortunately, I don't have that picture anymore as this was 1.5 years ago. Sure the Gfx card on this laptop wont run BF4 but it did run BF3 (Using testing software) on min-med.

It sounds unbelievable, I'm trying to say you can get something just as good with a REAL graphics card you just have to look
    in the right places.
