Where is the cooling for the 2 graphics cards. With 2 of them running it will get pretty hot

  5. Way too overkill, like unless you're going to do some serious Video-/Audioediting (or any Computer Engineering Projects in general) that rig will be just way too much.

Worth if you want BF4 on ultra xP @~90fps

For the 32 GB of RAM, 16 GB of that will be useless, unless you're going to use something like RAMDisk. 12 GB is probably enough, if not too much.

  7. Not even for that, necessarily

According to the other things he wants to buy, it's a single Full HD monitor setup (assumption), and for that something like a 290x is enough and a lot cheaper. Like, okay, you're gonna get a minimum of ~30FPS but if you want to play BF4 on 1920x1080, Ultra, with AA and 4xMSAA you're going to need a fucking Titan, not even the 7970 is enough for that

  8. The 290x on BF4 has been recorded to get atleast 15 FPS higher and is half the cost of a titan, so yeah, also, I am a 3D artist and animation guy so I need some pretty intensive rigs to run the software i'll be using :b

Also, I was going to order 2-3 of those monitors, I just have one there so I don't have to separately add 2 more to the list.

WHY IS EVERYONE ASSUMING THIS IS FOR BF4? I'M A 3D ARTIST, I NEED A RIG FOR THAT, I JUST DO GAMING AS A HOBBY NOT A CAREER! Gah, caps rants are always obnoxious but my point as been made.

And it's not that every big build is a BF build. It's just that for gamers, its common to reference a big build to BF, being that BF is about the most high performance needing game.

And I was gonna ask why need a 120 Hz monitor, almost forgot already that you do animation lol

  11. The only REAL intensive game I play is Arma 3.

120 Hz is the best thing ever, it makes such a huge difference visually

  13. I need an opinion, should I get the 290x or GTX 780? I heard the R90x is definitely better, but since the price drop in the 780 my mind is looking both ways.

Get the R90x being that it is the better option, (sure the 780 is cheaper, but you are paying for quality and longevity) and the R90x kicks the 780's ass (hence the price drop)
