1. Every so often, when im doing anything on my computer, my sound will sometimes just cut out meaning I cant hear. I hear a buzzing for 2 seconds, then I cant hear.

When im in game, it lags for 5 seconds, then its out.

When im in vent, it says no sound device can be detected

etc.

Any fix?

2. If you're on XP

Go to run
Type services.msc
Go down to Windows Audio
Enable it

That's how I fix mine when it happens to me.

4. @RootBeer
If that didn't work, what ports are your speakers and/or headphones plugged into... (i.e. USB, front-panel audio, additional sound card, onboard sound card?

7. Root Beer K got it this time.

Try plugging it into the back onboard audio and if the issue disappears, it's obviously the front panel audio connector

8. Welp, now it hasent been happening (thank god) and I just got the Logitech G510 Gaming comp at Frys and it has other sound ports on the side where I can plug it in. So, that will be my second resort. If it dosent work, ill use @A Very Bagurly Bagle 's idea. If all else fails, I restart :3
