  1. So, my ISP has announced that homes in my town will be getting Fiber connectivity directly to the home.

Very excited for this - Hoping it will provide the speeds I want as a gamer, technician, YouTuber, and hopefully I'll be able to easily stream in HD now as well.

The reason they finally got around to it was because NetINS, the main bandwidth provider here in Iowa, finally finished installing a shiny new 10GbE International fiber optic line in our area, and my ISP got a massive grant on top of that. Very cool.

I'll also be getting a new router and in-house equipment for free because of this.

They say it should all take place before the end of the year :D
