Out of all of the Windows Operating Systems.. Win 7 is b0ss.

Out of all of the Linux Operating Systems, you want either Ubuntu or Fedora.

Out of all of the Mac Operating Systems.. you don't really want to touch them. xP

You skipped number 4, which I would've thought would be Windows 8. I was figuring about getting Windows 7 anyway because I don't know if Linux supports everything I want to get (Games)

I don't think I'm getting mac anyways, way too expensive. I need it to be cheap but I mean I want it to at least play Battlefield on the best resolutions and such.

Linux: Linux Mint is the most user friendly and is Ubuntu-based so it will work with Steam/TF2/L4D etc..

    Windows: Windows 7

    OS X: OS X Mountain Lion (10.8)

    Pick one.

I figured. Why is it so bad though? I've never used it myself but I would like to know why people hate it so much.

Windows 8 is bad because of the changes to the graphical interface/menu and such, they removed the start menu and made it into the kind of menu you would see on an iphone.

The point being that they made the entire operating system just to cater to touchscreen users... and its way harder to navigate for most users.

  16. GET WINDOWS 7. Do not get Windows 8. Windows 8 is really only meant for Touchscreen and Laptops. Windows 7 is the best for Gaming.

If Windows 8 ends up coming with the computer in a cheaper way, get it. Windows 7 isn't technically better than 8 just most make that opinion (including me). I have Windows 8, and really the only annoyance is the start screen. Yet updates will come out to help people who dislike it in the future, so basically whatever is cheaper which should be 7. DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING NEAR LINUX OR MAC SYSTEMS, the restrictions piss me off and make them work computers. Even Ubuntu is annoying...

  20. Liking Linux and Mac (or disliking them in your case) is purely a matter of opinion.

    - Windows is the absolute best for user friendliness and greatest support of games and programs, hands down.

    - Linux can get every ounce of performance out of your PC if you have the right drivers and setup. It works especially well for older PCs.

    - Mac is generally seen as the "Professional Media Editor's" OS. Also useful if you want to spend a few thousand bucks on a machine that would cost a mere fraction of the cost with the exact same hardware.

Linux is definitely NOT restricted. You have a root password to prevent unauthorized or accidental damage to the system.
